Western Red Cedars naturally high resin content makes it an excellent choice for external cladding. The resin gives it enhanced weather protection and excellent dimensional stability. In addition to it's resistance to the elements Cedar is often chosen for it's beautiful pale pink colour that fades to silver-grey with time. It's lightweight and easy to machine making it a favourite choice for gates, garage doors and summer houses.
