Good quality timber but disappointed that they weren't all the same section, so I had to plane one to size. I thought PAR timber was to a tighter tolerance.

Needed reasonably priced timber for creating shelves 14 November 2023 | Nick
This pine planed timber was perfect for creating a couple of shelves under our stairs for putting shoes on etc. All pieces were smooth, straight and free from any other defects. My order was wrapped together well and I was able to go down to the store to collect it within 24 hours.
The only thing that could have been a bit better was the wait time where I found I had to queue behind customers that were having wood cut which meant what should have been a 2 minute trip turned into half an hour.

Normally I purchase timber locally but the quality this time was substandard. I tried Atlantic Timber, online, a first, and was delighted. Not only was the quality superb, but the delivery happened within days. I won't look any further in the future than Atlantic.

I was aware that the product was planed all round and would be slightly smaller than the 50mm x 25mm ordered. I had allowed for this in my project. What I was slightly disappointed at was the length of the boards. They are listed as 2.4m boards but they were all shorter than this and not all were equal lengths. Overall though good product and great service. Would definitely use Atlantic Timber again.
