175mm x 47mm (7" x 2") Treated Softwood - up to 3m

175mm x 47mm (7" x 2") is one of the most widely used timber sizes. Often used as floor or ceiling joists, used extensively in roof construction and commonly used for supports in decking projects.  

It comes pressure treated for extra durability and is now supplied 'Easi Edge'. This means slightly rounded corners and smooth faces for easier handling and use. It also makes it more appealing for use in garden projects where it's likely to be touched and you want to avoid rough and splintered edges. 

Also available in longer lengths - there's a lengths to suit every project.  

Finished size is 167mm x 44mm.
