Thank you for wrapping the item so well.
I had to keep laughing at hearing my husband muttering under his breath.
He moans he doesn't get any deliveries so as this item is a job for him to do I let him unwrap it.
He's promised never to moan again.
I knew he'd finished when he said " OOOOO. THATS A LOVELY BIT OF TMBER'
I was actually expecting something far worse.
Thanks again.
I've decided I'm going to varnish it instead of painting it.

Exactly whst I needed & unable to get at any of my local DIY superstores or at a reasonable cost from local timber merchants.
Bought this windowboard for a kitchen shelf above a wide upstand. Cut to size lengthways and also at a very modest cost, it was trimmed to the required width to enable me to drop led strip lights behind the shelf without the need for routering out and recessing them. Very good communication to arrange this, very quick to despatch, delivered without issue and a great quality product received. I do always look to shop local in the first instance but the service, price and quality of both service & product from Atlantic Timber could not be compared. Excellent company. Excellent service. Excellent product.

This wood arrived, un-warped, in good condition, well packaged and many days before the expected delivery date. As a less common windowboard thickness Atlantic timber provided excellent value even factoring in delivery cost.

Worth the drive, every local timber yard had no stock of anything but MDF or would have to machine at a later date. Atlantic had it machined in stock and ready to collect. Worth the 40 mins drive and will 100% be using again. Window board was great quality product, looks great now fitted. Staff we're more than helpful too

Protective wrapping on the first board was not sufficient to protect it from the delivery company. Next board was perfect.
